09/08/03: Quiet life on Maui... I love it! I'm just not the big party queen, I'm normally quite domestic;-)
I love to go out and go wild once in while for sure but in general I love to be with my loved ones and my pets and write my songs, go windsurfing, do yoga, read as many books as possible;-), etc.
This is what I truly am. This is what I need when I have a break form the show buisness.
13/08/03: A miracle happened! Alyssa called me! We talked and I had to forgive her when she told me what happened to her.
She really had a tough time lately. I can not tell you guys more since she asked me not to tell anyone; just let me tell you so much: her ex boyfriend is in jail for what he did to her...
So, I'm happy that we can talk again since I really missed her.
I will go to L.A. soon to look after her since she has some surgery done in her abdomen and I also have some jobs there.
08/15/03: Alyssa called me today to tell me she just saw me on the cover of "Swank".
Well, as it seems I'm the last one to learn about that! Well, I went to check it out and yes, it's me! It's the December issue and it's a layout that Suzie Londoner shot of me.
Great stuff! If you wanna buy it from me with an autograph, drop me an e-mail, okay?

08/28/03: Went windsurfing today. It was pretty exhausting because I am not really in shape after three weeks of working and no time for working out.
But it was fun though. A few bruises, but nothing bad;-)
08/29/03: Friday night is the night on Maui to go out. So we went to Jacques, our favourite bar here on the northshore, and it was quite busy. I mean, when I say quite busy, then I don't speak of busy in L.A. terms...;-)
This is Maui! Full of athletes who spend the whole day in the water or some other extreme sport and are completely fucked by the end of the day. So, let's say 15% of those still manage to go out on a Friday night for a couple of beers
and that's what I call quite busy. But at like 11.30 it's completely dead. At that time everyone is defenitely ready for bed. Sounds pretty boring, huh?
Well, the nightlife might be, yes, but if you live here you just get used to the saying "seize the day" and if you stick to that, you are tired at the end of the day anyways and don't feel like going out. And you start liking this kind of lifestyle.
You feel energetic and healthy (everyone lives very healthily here, let me tell you that!) and just plain good. And it's all very relaxed here and everybody is really laid back and just really friendly. So, if you live in a hectic city like L.A. and want to escape from it from time to time.
there is no better place to go to than Maui! See you soon;-)

09/02/03: Finally the hurricane is over! Well, to be honest, they said it was one, but I really doubt it... I mean, yes, we had a few days of rain and pretty strong wind, but we had that before and they had never called it a hurricane. I really couldn't see the difference...
But it's nice to have sun again;-) And I seized it. Went two hours windsurfing and then one and a half to a yoga class. Good girl, huh?;-)
And in the evening me and friends went to the movies, and the others all wanted to see Freaky Friday - the last movie I would have chosen. But well, the majority wins...
But guess what? It was actually really funny. I laughed my head off! Typical cheesy Walt Disney happy ending, but apart from that - real fun!
